Important:This method of changing the language should only be viewed as a temporary change tothe vehicles on your dealership lot. Refer to Method?1 for instructions on how tochange to language setting for vehicles that have been sold.

Important:There are other menu options that are resident in the OnStar® system following thelanguage change option. These other options are not enabled and should not be enteredinto by the dealership personnel.

Important:This method of changing the language preferences is only to be utilized by dealershippersonnel. Please do not share this information with customers.

If you receive a vehicle that has been sold to a customer, and the language is alreadyset to French or Spanish, and the customer would like the language to be re-set backto English, press the blue OnStar® button and ask the advisor to re-set the languageto English.

If you receive a vehicle that is not sold, but is programmed for Spanish, and youwish to change it back to English, please follow these instructions:

Press and hold the white “Phone” button on the three button assembly until the systemresponds with the following:

”Continuar con esta operaci?n cambiar? las configuraciones de su sistema OnStar®.Presione el bot?n otra vez para salir. ?Quiere cambiar su lenguaje- Por favor diga'S?' o 'No'.”

Say “Si”. The system will respond with the following:

”Cuando usted cambie el lenguaje, el sistema borrar? todos los nombres en el directorio.Y adem?s solamente reconocer? el nuevo lenguaje. Presione el bot?n otra vez si deseasalirse. Por favor diga “cero” para ingl?s, diga “uno” para franc?s o “dos” para espa?ol.”

Say “cero”. The system will respond with the following:

”Su lenguaje ha sido fijado al ingl?s. Por favor diga 'S?' o 'No'.”

Say “Si”. The system will respond with the following:

”Your language has been changed.”

If you receive a vehicle that is not sold, but is programmed for French, and you wishto change it back to English, please use the following instructions:

Press and hold the white “Phone” button on the three button assembly until the systemresponds with the following:

”En continuant d'effectuer cette fonction, les param?tres de votre syst?me OnStar®seront modifi?s. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton pour annuler la fonction. Souhaitez-vouschanger la langue- Dites 'oui' ou 'non'.”

Say “oui”. The system will respond with the following:

”En modifiant la langue, le syst?me supprime tous les noms enregistr?s et ne reconnaitraque cette langue. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton pour annuler la fonction. Veuillezdire 'z?ro' pour l'anglais (zero for English), 'un' pour le fran?ais ou 'deux' pourl'espagnol.”

Say “z?ro”. The system will respond with the following:

”Vous avez choisi le z?ro. La langue a ?t? chang?e pour l'anglais. Dites 'oui' ou'non'.”

Say “oui”. The system will respond with the following:

”Your language has been changed. Thank you. Goodbye.”
