Remove the seal rings-(1 and 2) from the1–2–3–4 clutchpiston-(3).

Position the 1–2–3–4,4–5–6 clutch housing-(8) on the baseofJ 24204-2assembly-(10) so that the rear of the housing is facingup.AlignJ 47339-2protectorJ 47339-2protector-(7) so that the bowl is facing down.InstallJ 47339-2protector-(7) onto the shaft ofJ 24204-2assemblyand onto the inner hub of the1–2–3–4, 4–5–6clutch housing-(9). Make sure the rim ofJ 47339-2protector-(7) almost touches the retaining ring.Install the spring-(5) ofJ 47339-1compressoronto the shaft ofJ 24204-2assembly.InstallJ 24204-2assembly-(4) onto the shaft ofJ 24204-2assembly.Install theJ 24204-2assemblyball bearing-(3) and washer-(2) ontothe shaft ofJ 24204-2assembly.Install theJ 24204-2assemblywing nut-(1) onto the shaft ofJ 24204-2assembly.Compress the 4–5–6 clutch piston returnspring assembly until the retaining ring-(6) can beremoved.Remove the retaining ring-(6) from the groove inthe 1–2–3–4,4–5–6 clutch housing inner hub and move theretaining ring over the top ofJ 47339-2protector-(7).Remove all J-tools from the1–2–3–4, 4–5–6clutch housing.Remove the retaining ring-(6) from the1–2–3–4, 4–5–6clutch housing.

Remove the 1–2–3–4 clutchpiston housing, the 4–5–6 piston return springassembly, and the 4–5–6 clutch piston, as anassembly-(1), from the1–2–3–4, 4–5–6clutch housing-(2).

Position the 4–5–6 piston and1–2–3–4 clutch housing horizontallyon a work table.Hold the 4–5–6 piston and1–2–3–4 clutch housing, and placeJ 43772installerJ 43772installeragainst the 1–2–3–4 clutchhousing.Using a rubber mallet, gently tap onJ 43772installerto remove the 1–2–3–4 clutchhousing from the 4–5–6 clutch piston.

Remove the 4–5–6 clutch piston returnsprings-(2) from the 4–5–6 clutchpiston-(3).

Remove the O-ring-(1) from the inner hub of the1–2–3–4, 4–5–6clutch housing-(2).

Remove the seal ring-(1) from the1–2–3–4 clutchhousing-(2).

Remove the piston seal rings-(1 and 2) from the4–5–6 clutch piston-(3).
