Air Conditioning Refrigerant Temperature Sensor Replacement - part 2

Remove the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor harness grommet-(1) fromthe top of the air conditioning and heater module assembly-(2).

Air Conditioning Refrigerant Temperature Sensor Replacement

Pull the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor-(1) up and out of the airconditioning and heater module assembly-(2), leaving part of the secured wire exitingthe newly drilled hole.Installation ProcedureSecure the new air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor to the wire that wassecured to the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor side.

Pull the wire exiting the newly drilled hole, routing the air conditioning refrigeranttemperature sensor-(1) back into the air conditioning and heater module assembly-(2).

Install the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor harness grommet-(1) backinto the top of the air conditioning and heater module assembly-(2).

Connect the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor connector-(1).

Use a pair of long needle nose pliers to grip the air conditioning refrigerant temperaturesensor at the plastic base-(1), and insert air conditioning refrigerant temperaturesensor into the center of the evaporator core-(2).Perform the air conditioning refrigerant temperature sensor calibration check usingthe scan tool.Install 1 1/4 (32-mm) inch plug-(P/N 94535734)-into the newly drilled hole.Apply silicon sealer-(GM#88861417)-around the perimeter of the plug.Install the right side instrument panel insulator. Refer toInstrument Panel Insulator ReplacementInstall the instrument panel inflatable restraint module. Refer toAirbag Instrument Panel Module Replacement.Install the instrument panel compartment door assembly. Refer toInstrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement.
