Danger:Always perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure prior toservicing any High Voltage component or connection. PersonalProtection Equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must befollowed.

The High Voltage Disabling procedure will perform thefollowing tasks:

Identify how to disable high voltage.Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage.Identify condition under which high voltage is always presentand personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures mustbe followed.

Failure to follow the procedures exactly as written mayresult in serious injury or death.

Preliminary ProceduresDisable the high voltage at the drive motor generatorbattery. Refer toHigh Voltage Disabling.Remove the upper and right cover. Refer toDrive Motor Battery Case Upper Cover, Front Cover, and Right Side Cover Replacement.Remove the drive motor battery positive relay cable. Refer toDrive Motor Battery Positive Relay Cable Replacement.

Drive Motor Battery Current Sensor Assembly

ProcedureDisconnect the electrical connector.After the current sensor assembly has been replaced and there-assembly of the drive motor generator battery, enable the HVsystem. Refer toHigh Voltage Enabling.
