Your vehicle is an important investment. This sectiondescribes the required maintenance for the vehicle. Follow thisschedule to help protect against major repair expenses resultingfrom neglect or inadequate maintenance. It may also help tomaintain the value of the vehicle if it is sold. It is theresponsibility of the owner to have all required maintenanceperformed.

Your dealer has trained technicians who can perform requiredmaintenance using genuine replacement parts. They haveup-to-date tools and equipment for fast andaccurate diagnostics. Many dealers have extended evening andSaturday hours, courtesy transportation, and online scheduling toassist with service needs.

Your dealer recognizes the importance of providingcompetitively priced maintenance and repair services. With trainedtechnicians, the dealer is the place for routine maintenance suchas oil changes and tire rotations and additional maintenance itemslike tires, brakes, batteries, and wiper blades.

Notice:Damage caused by improper maintenance can lead to costlyrepairs and may not be covered by the vehicle warranty. Maintenanceintervals, checks, inspections, recommended fluids, and lubricantsare important to keep the vehicle in good working condition.

The Tire Rotation and Required Services are theresponsibility of the vehicle owner. It is recommended to have yourdealer perform these services every 10 000 km/6,000 mi. Propervehicle maintenance helps to keep the vehicle in good workingcondition, improves fuel economy, and reduces vehicleemissions.

Because of the way people use vehicles, maintenance needsvary. There may need to be more frequent checks and services. TheAdditional Required Services - Normal Service are forvehicles that:

Carry passengers and cargo within recommended limits on theTire and Loading Information label. SeeVehicle Load Limits.Are driven on reasonable road surfaces within legal drivinglimits.Use the recommended fuel. SeeRecommended Fuel.

The Additional Required Services - Severe Serviceare for vehicles that are:

Mainly driven in heavy city traffic in hot weather.Mainly driven in hilly or mountainous terrain.Frequently towing a trailer.Used for high speed or competitive driving.Used for taxi, police, or delivery service.
